On Our Radar (07/26/2018)

“Oye Como Ghetto” Angelo Ferrei vs Santana  (#DBMafia)
#DBMafia brings us more summer heat! Angelo Ferreri turns this Santana classic into a credible House track that will rock Lounges and clubs worldwide.

“The Word” Felipe Avelar (Spacedisco)

Spacedisco serves up a very funky, seriously filtered House track that utilizes bits of the McFadden & Whitehead classic “Ain’t No Stoppin’ Us Now” without giving us too much.

“Feels Real Funky” N2N (Which Bottle?)

Are you a sucker for a funky soulful House track with nice horn work? We are, and that is exactly what this is! Also makes a great transition track as well. Play it early as the crowds are just coming in to help them feel the groove and loosen up.

“Humming” Robbie Rivera (Juicy Music)

This track is hot, as Robbie takes everyone on a journey. Enjoy the ride. The percussion on this is so clean while the rhythm track gets you groovin’. This is a summer track but we suspect it will bring on the heat even in the dead of winter. Brilliant stuff!

“Teardrops” Luca Debonaire  (Which Bottle?)
“Teardrops” is on fire! This is a super strong, Disco-House drenched Vocal track. Simply put, this is a perfect club track. Great stuff again from Which Bottle?

“Crack Of Dawn” Crack Of Dawn (Eric Alper PR)

This is music the way it was and the way it should be again! “Crack Of Dawn” is some serious Earth, Wind & Fabulous! An awesome retro Disco-Funk track with killer vocals, a great song and heavenly horns! So crazy cool!

Bozami EP  “Grove” by Arkane (Open House Deep)

Underground House is alive and well on this release. Look for the sample from from “Hupendi Muziki Wangu” by K.I.D. It is so simple and such a small snippet but it is everything in this track.

“Music” Chris Feelding (Sugar Sugar)

It’s not a party until you put the “Music” on! This release has that same exuberance you feel as you hit that euphoric high brought on from a night of dancing to sweet soulful House music!

“Weekend” Oliver Bach  (K4 Music)
If you can use a slice of retro Progressive Disco, this is it a seriously good up-tempo track for people in a Big Room or a Backroom!

“All This Time” Kenny Hectyc (Tommy Boy)

Kenny Hectyc serves up a classic commercial House track. Top-notch production, a great song coupled with beautiful soulful vocals and you have a musical cocktail to get drunk on! Is that Whitney Houston singing? No, it can’t be.

“Choose Hope (Remixes)” Camille (Zarion)

Camille drops a new set of mixes to celebrate the entry into the USA Billboard Club Chart Top 20. Allow us to point you to the Angel Manuel Quick Hit Mix. It is Acid House the way we remember and loved it back in the day. It sure is funky!

“Only Can Get Better” Silk City ft. Diple, Mark Ronson & Daniel Merriweather (Columbia)

Check out this House track with an electro soulful edge. There is also a super strong remix from Claude VonStroke that warrants your attention. A Very strong release for sure.

“Hide With Me” Deep Parliament ft. Stevie  (Melogamma)
Very nice soulful House track with strong vocals, a nice hook and great production! Great work!

“Don’t Stop The Music” Lilla (Lucky Music/Pro Motion)

This is some serious KISS FM Garage 80’s style House music here! For those of us fortunate enough to have lived in NYC during the early 80’s when Kiss FM ruled the airwaves, you will recognize so much in this fabulous Eric Kupper production!

“Liberated” DJ Loaf, Leon Bridges (Columbia)

We love this tune! It gives us an eargasm of epic proportions! We could listen to this all day and only wish we had a remix to hit up in our shows. God if you are listening, do a couple of remixes on this tune and let’s set the world on fire! Try it late-night.

“Don’t Matter To Me” Drake ft. Michael Jackson (Universal Repubic)

Drake keeps the cuts coming with this inspired and beautiful duet with the King of Pop! He provides a nice counter balance to Drake and together this is fire!

“I’m Coming Out/ Upside Down” Diana Ross (Universal Motown)
Brad LeBeau at ProMotion put together the most perfect trifecta of remixes to bring this classic into the present! Eric Kupper delivers the most faithful to the Original mix, while Chris Cox pumps the track up a bit. Dirty Disco gives us a Tribal-sounding mix which completes this perfect package!

“Spread Love (Paddington)” Boston Bun ft. DVNO (Big Beat)

“I’m a spread love like a Paddington bear!” has to be the most unexpected line in a dance track this year! A strong House track that entertains while packing a floor!

“Color” Marcus Layton (Robbins Entertainment)

The vocals and the hook are strong and milky, but everything being for real, that rubbery bassline is everything!

“Hold On” Alexander Orue  (Which Bottle?)

This is all hook and bassline! Pour this over a sweet House track and it sounds awesome in both a small venue or a Big Room. Rarely do you get one mix that’ll work everywhere but this is the real deal. Which Bottle continues to be on fire!

“Send The Message” Stefano Mattara  (Jaywork)
This is great summer fun from Stefano Mattara. What really lifts this track above the clouds is the the nod to “Yeke Yeke”. Check out the loungey House vibe of the Tropical Remix. The Mattara 2018 Club Mix is way harder!

“Feel It” Carol Jiani (Sounds United)

Carol Jiani is back and in fine voice! The DJ Marjanski Remix is a serious throw-your-hands-in-the-air Disco House track. If you are feeling 80’s Underground House, check on the Frank DJ Remix! Excellent!

“Dreams” Luca Debonaire & DJ Marlon (Which Bottle?)

Luca Debonaire & DJ Marlon made a single that is a master class on how to do a cover of a classic. It is that good. So stop reading this and check it out!

“Internash” Dex Experience  (Pro Motion/Quantum Digital)

This is unapologetic Runway music for the Balls and the Dance Floors with a clientele that knows how to serve it! Your crowd may love this so much that they may have to go and get their vogue on!
