At zipDJ, we’re always striving to give you the best digital music service possible. Our development team has been working very hard to step up our game, and we’re very excited to announce the following upgrades have been completed:

:: Improved Search Functionality

Members will be glad to hear we have made our search much more robust, faster and efficient. The new search engine allows users to submit a keyword search with the ability to select specific content-type searching which can be filtered by Artist, Mix (Instrumental etc), Releases, Tracks, Labels, and Charts. By default, the new function also searches across ALL music content and displays an overview of results across multiple content types.

:: Easier Access to Release Info

zipDJ members can now simply hover over album art to see full release details including Artist, Label, Genre, Release Date, and Mix lists. Album art and release (text) information can also now be downloaded (.zip) by clicking on the new “i” icon located in the release title.

:: Optimized Overall Site Performance

Along with the improvements to our search functionality, DJ’s will also be pleased to know site performance has been optimized from top to bottom! This means our members will be able to access promotional material faster than ever before.

:: Automatically Recurring Subscriptions

As a convenience to our subscribers, subscription payments made with a credit card through our online merchant and PayPal will now be automatically renewed.

We are providing this upgraded feature to our members so they do not have to re-enter their card details each time they renew their subscription. In addition, since the zipDJ system does not distribute music to expired accounts, our upgraded payment system will keep our subscribers connected to new music releases at all times. The new account page will now feature upgrade, downgrade and cancellation capabilities that will enable members to change the nature of their current package for their next renewal date.
